These visits help prevent cavities, support proper development, give our team the chance to catch any concerns early - making treatment simpler and more comfortable if it’s ever needed, and possibly most importantly, they make each trip to the dentist a positive experience.
Professional Cleanings
Professional cleanings are an important part of keeping your child’s smile healthy - right along with brushing and flossing at home. Using gentle techniques, specialized tools, and kid-friendly language, our team makes cleanings comfortable and easy for every child.
During your child’s cleaning, we will:

Gently remove plaque from the teeth. Plaque is a sticky film of bacteria that can lead to cavities and gum irritation if not removed regularly

Remove tartar (hardened plaque) from the tooth surfaces. Tartar can only be removed with special instruments and may contribute to gum disease if left untreated

Polish the teeth to remove surface stains and leave your child’s smile feeling smooth and clean

Provide guidance on brushing and flossing, along with tips for healthy eating habits to support strong, developing teeth |
Dental Exams
Regular dental exams allow us to monitor your child’s growth and catch small concerns early - before they become bigger issues. We typically recommend visits every six months to keep your child on track for a healthy smile.
During an exam, we may include:
